Things You Need To Understand About Shipping
Estimated Delivery Time
The Estimated Delivery Time (EDT) is issued by the courier service on how long you should expect receiving the parcel once dispatched. However, a delay could happen due to many reasons during the transport, especially during the global pandemic.
Import Taxes and Duties Fee
The import taxes and duties fees are always the buyer’s responsibility. Please understand if there’s any additional cost needed or amount limit prior to making a purchase online with your local customs office.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your parcel dispatched to the courier service, we’ll update you on the tracking number via email where you can track your order. Please understand that tracking and manage to receive your order is your responsibility especially once the parcel has arrived within your country.
Our Shipping Services
International Air Parcel Service
International Air Parcel Service is an shipping service under Pos-Malaysia. It covers a wide range of worldwide destination with tracking number provided.
Effective on August 2021, its shipping cost is charged based on volumetric-weight-based as any other shipping services out there.
It usually takes 8-16 business days to deliver (different country has a different EDT) and delays could happen due to a limited scheduled flights of worldwide shipping caused by the global pandemic.
Standard EMS Service
Standard EMS Service is a third-party shipping company that corporates with Pos-Malaysia. It also covers a wide range of destination with a faster service than the Economy Air Parcel Service.
Based on our experience, EMS has the reasonable shipping rate for some Asia countries and EU countries. It shipping cost also charged based on volumetric-weight-based.
It usually takes 3-6 business days to deliver (of course, different country has different EDT) and delays could happen due to a limited scheduled flights of worldwide shipping caused by the global pandemic.
Surface Parcel Service (By Sea)
Surface Parcel Service is a sea shipping which is being unavailable since the global pandemic occurs. It has the cheapest shipping rate for all countries and it need to take the longest time to deliver. It usually takes 6-16 weeks to arrives (depends on countries).
This service also provide tracking number but since it’s the cheapest shipping service, there’s no insurance given for this service, therefore, Museigen Hobby do not accept any claims of missing or parcel damaged if you choose to use this service.
Start from 2022, we have no way to ship any prohibited item with this service anymore.
SF Express (Recommeded)
SF Express is a second largest express shipping service in China that partner up with the UPS in the United Stated. It’s volumetric-weight-based calculation and a tracking number is provided.
After using it for a few months, we found SF Express has a better shipping rate specifically for the United States, Canada, Mexico. It usually takes 5-7 working days to arrive, some countries might vary.
Also we do provide SF Economy Services for Europe countries with the more reasonable rate if compare to Pos Malaysia Shipping Services.
Shipping Within Malaysia
PosLaju "The Next Day Delivery" Service
For orders placed within Malaysia, PosLaju “The Next Day Delivery” Service is what we use. Whether you’re from the East of the West Malaysia, the shipping cost is the same as RM 8 per shipment.
You can buy as much as you want, the shipping cost rate is fixed meaning you don’t need to worry about the size and the weight, it’s all RM 8 per shipment with tracking number provided.
Typically, it takes 1-2 working days to arrives except the peak seasons like the Mid-Year Sales, 11.11 Sales, CNY Sales or Christmas Sales which might takes up to one week of delivery duration.

Things You Might Want To Know
When will you ship out my order? How do I know my order is shipped?
If you’ve selected “Combine Shipping” and wanted to ship now, simply complete the Combine Orders Form and we’ll quote you the necessary shipping fee in detail via email (with the headline “Order 123XXX: Shipping Fee Quote”). In this email, you’ll see a clear instructions on how to make a payment for the shipping.
Once we’ve received your payment for the shipping, we’ll manage to ship out your order as soon as possible and update you on the tracking number once it’s dispatched.
How does my shipping fee calculated?
Volumetric Calculation
Length (cm) x Height (cm) x Width (cm) /5000 = Volumetric Weight (kg) of your parcel
*The Volumetric Weight (kg) will be comparing with the Actual Weight (kg), whichever higher will be taken for the shipping cost rate charge.

How do I know how much shipping fee I will need to pay?
Usually, you could simply add the items that you interested in purchase into the shopping cart, before you proceed to checkout, you’ll see the available shipping options with its shipping cost attached on the side (like the image shown below):
But since the outbreak of the global pandemic, the Standard Shipping Services are suspending all international shipments from Malaysia so we switched to the only available shipping option, the Express Shipping Services.
Since 2022 the shipping cost rate of all Shipping Services are in the volumetric-weight-based calculation so we will need to manually pack the order to calculate the necessary shipping fee, that’s why we mentioned this way “Shipping Fee Quote Manually (We’ll Quote The Shipping Fee Manually)” as the image shown below:

2. Shipping Fee Quote Manually
Once you’ve selected this option, we’ll pack your order and quote the necessary shipping fee within 1-2 working days and send you the quoted shipping fee to the email you’ve used when checkout. The email’s headline would be, “Order 123456: Shipping Fee Quote”.

Is the shipping and product cost the final total I will have to pay?
Yes. We don’t have any hidden fees or taxes charge, the cost of the product and the shipping fee is all you have to pay to have your order delivered.

Can I ship my order to PO Box or military address ?
As long as the address is valid and accepted by the courier service, then there’s no problem for us to manage the shipment. If the address is not available and we will contact you via Email to proceed further.
Can I pick up my order OR cash on delivery?
Is there a compensation for the delay of delivery?
